VISTA Training Canada, Inc. (VTC) is a subsidiary headquartered near Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. VTC is staffed by talented mining professionals and computer-based training development personnel. VTC serves or has served most major oil sands mining industry players and their subcontractors, as well as a growing number of mines in the province of British Columbia.
One recent example of how we help mines in Canada be more safe and productive is our implementation of VISTA's TruckLogic™ haul truck operator training curriculum, which reduced incidents by 50% and improved productivity by 4.5%. VISTA and the Suncor training department were awarded a Suncor President's Award for this achievement in November, 2011. You can read about this successful project here.
