  • What an effective Supervisor needs to know

Production Theory

  • This chapter discusses the true path of production and the typical ways productions groups look at discrepancies in the required output. From bench turnover to planning the shift. In all it discusses the topics known to be the thieves of production that inexperienced leaders would not readily Identify.

Haul Road and Work Area Management

  • From correct road designs to drainage and maintenance the haul roads and work areas not only deplete productive tons. They can be silent killers to the machine health.

 â€‹

Production analysis

  • So much can be lost or found when production is looked at a bit closer than numbers. We discuss the tools and techniques to gauge effectiveness and get to the root cause of the production loss much quicker.

Cost of doing business

  • Not only the workers, but the frontline leaders don’t understand the cost impact to there decisions. Health events, maintenance, and operator involvement impact the success of the tons and the cost to obtain the tons. Success is measured in more than load count.
